Nikita Luther Is In Barcelona! More titles Coming Home?

Spartan Poker Pro Nikita Luther shared an update on her Instagram Stories… And what does that update tell us? Well, the diva landed in Barcelona and it may look like she’s on a vacation, but there could be another reason why. Luther is in Barcelona for the European Poker Tour (EPT) 2022. This live poker series will run from 8th to 21st August 2022 at Casino Barcelona. Among the many stops of EPT, Luther had last marked her attendance at EPT Prague in March 2022.

The poker pro who is riding high on the success from her recent outing at Adda52 Colossus Aug 2022 in Goa, many are expecting that Luther will smash the felts to take down top titles. Luther slayed the felts of Deltin Royale like a boss and grabbed the runner-up spot at the Adda52 Colossus Aug 2022 Main Event (ME) for ₹21 Lakh. This event was eventually shipped by Nishant Sharma. Not just the ME, Luther also played the 200K Highroller and finished 8th for a payday of ₹5,17,500. The event was won by IPC Megastacks May 2022 ME champ Siddhanth Kripalani.

Apart from this, Luther made it to the final table of the 100K High Roller at the IPC Megastacks May 2022 in Jhapa, Nepal. The poker dynamo finished 5th for ₹7.86 Lakh. With a coveted title in her kitty, this World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet winner will look to ship more winning titles in the live poker events she plays next. 

Going back in time, Luther had progressed onto Day 2 of the EPT Prague 2022 ME. The leggy lass had a payday of €4,660 for her 109th finish. Luther had also qualified to play in Estrellas Poker Tour (ESPT) 2022 Main Event Day 2. Here the poker pro finished 70th and took a pay cheque of €2,330.

With an impressive record in live poker, many are keeping an eye on what Luther spins at the ongoing EPT 2022 Barcelona. As for the event, currently the €10,200 Mystery Bounty is underway which has Francisco Benitez from Uruguay leading with 3,630,000 chips at dinner break. The game will resume after the 75-minute dinner break at 9:05 PM local time (Wednesday, 12.35 AM IST).
