Who Are The Natural8 India APT Phu Quoc 2024 Finalists?

Natural8 India recently concluded their APT Phu Quoc exclusive tournament on 20th October, offering a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to not one, but NINE finalists, with an all-expenses-paid trip worth ₹15 Lakh to Vietnam to participate in an Asian Poker Tour event. APT Phu Quoc 2024 kicks off on 8th November and runs until 17th November 2024.

The exclusive tournament, hosted by Natural8 India with a buy-in of ₹5,500, rewarded the final nine players with their dream trip to Phu Quoc, in addition to the event prize pool. The top four finishers secured a ticket to the APT Phu Quoc 2024 Main Event, worth ₹1,23,905 each, while the remaining five players won a ticket to the Mini Main Event, worth ₹41,301 each. But who are these players? Let’s find out!

Natural8 India APT Phu Quoc Finalists

Kishor Kumar VC

Poker player Kishor Kumar VC finished in the top spot in the APT Phu Quoc exclusive tournament on Sunday, taking home his largest-ever online cash of ₹2,10,043, along with the free trip to Vietnam to play in the APT Phu Quoc Main Event. However, the icing on the cake is that Kumar will also receive a prestigious APT Trophy for his efforts. Kumar has around 120 poker titles to his name and is currently ranked 428 in India.

Romit Advani

Romit Advani is no stranger to the Indian poker circuit. Advani finished runner-up to Kumar, taking home ₹1.55 Lakh, along with an all-expenses-paid trip to Vietnam to play in the APT Phu Quoc Main Event. We would rate Advani as one of the favourites to win this Main Event, considering his previous successes at the Asian Poker Tour felts. In 2023, he won the APT Hanoi Billions PL Omaha event, pocketing around ₹4.95 Lakh.

Akhand Shukla

Online regular Akhand Shukla claimed third place, taking home ₹1.44 Lakh, along with the APT Phu Quoc Main Event ticket, accommodation, and return flight. This is Shukla’s second-best finish in terms of payout, with his all-time best being ₹2,61,665 in the Adda52 ₹25L Nano Main Event Finale in 2022.

Pranav Khandalkar

Pranav Khandalkar, who goes by the username ‘Pkpok’ on Natural8 India, took fourth place, earning ₹85,000 and winning the final Main Event ticket for APT Phu Quoc 2024. Khandalkar’s poker achievements are no small feat. He has around 750 titles to his name and has won events on almost every poker site in India. His largest cash came in May 2018 when he took down The Millionaire on Spartan Poker.

Myron Pereira

Myron Pereira, who hails from Goa, finished in 5th place, taking home ₹62,917 and winning a free ticket to the APT Phu Quoc 2024 Mini Main Event worth ₹41,000. Pereira is known for grinding both live events and online, with 249 titles to his name. His largest online cash is around ₹14 Lakh, while his career-best finish was at the DPT in May 2024, where he took home around ₹18 Lakh for a third-place finish in the High Roller event.

Arindam Nayak

Arindam Nayak secured a 6th place finish, cashing ₹46,546. He also won a Mini Main Event ticket, along with free accommodation and travel. Nayak’s largest online cash came in April 2024 when he finished second in the Spartan Poker Half Buy-in Millionaire event, adding ₹10 Lakh to his bankroll. 

Anurag Rawat

Playing under the username ‘FreeDebtm’ on Natural8 India, Anurag Rawat finished seventh, earning ₹34,000 for his efforts. Rawat also won an APT Mini Main Event ticket for Phu Quoc. He has close to 49 titles to his name, with his largest cash being ₹4,18,109. 

Rasik Bhatia

Rasik Bhatia finished in 8th place in the Natural8 India APT Phu Quoc tournament, earning ₹25,475 along with an APT Mini Main Event ticket for the Asian Poker Tour Phu Quoc event. Earlier this year, Bhatia finished fourth in PokerBaazi’s the Endeavour, taking home ₹1.68 Lakh.

Harsh Bharti

Harsh Bharti was the final finalist of the APT Phu Quoc India Exclusive event, finishing in 9th place, cashing ₹18,846, and winning a Mini Main Event ticket and the all-expenses-paid trip to Vietnam. Bharti, who regularly grinds online, has around 45 titles to his name, with his largest cash being ₹11,26,202.
