MPL Esports Partners With Give India For COVID-19 Charity Livestream

The esports division of Mobile Premier League (MPL), MPL Esports have partnered with Give India to host a charity fundraiser for Covid-19 relief which will be live-streamed. The live stream is called ‘Gamers for India Fundraiser’ and will be hosted by well-known gamers like Kronten, 8Bit, Mortal, Regaltos, Scout and others. The live stream will be held on 15th May from 7 PM onwards.

Those who are interested to attend the live stream, are welcome to do so by going to MPL Esports’ YouTube channel. The stream will also be available to watch on Facebook as well. You can find the link to their YouTube page below.

India is among the worst-hit countries with respect to the COVID-19 pandemic. With positive COVID-19 cases increasing by the day, many brands are taking a step forward to raise funds and create awareness about the crisis.

Apart from this, MPL also recently donated around ₹5 Crore to Virat Kohli-Anushka Sharma’s #InThisTogether initiative. The campaign was started by the celebrity couple to raise funds to provide aid to COVID-19 patients in the country.

Various brands in the real money gaming industry have also been taking an initiative to help as much as they can during this pandemic. Among these, poker brands like PokerBaazi have also partnered with Give India for ‘The O2 Initiative’ which was able to raise ₹3.31 Lakh to provide oxygen to the thousands of patients.

While it’s important to stay safe, you also can lend a helping hand during these hard times. The Hemkunt Foundation is among many who are helping the cause by providing oxygen to those in need. There is also a central helpline number for coronavirus set up by the Indian government. There are also separate numbers for individual states and cities.
