Monday Round Up: Yudhishter Jaswal’s Spectacular Performance Made Him The Biggest Winner Of The Night


The online felts did not lose its steam even on Monday night. As the Asian Poker Tour (APT) on PokerBaazi concluded over the weekend, poker players took to other poker platforms to get their daily dose of poker. Online regs like Manish Lakhotia, Arsh Grover, Anuj Yadav, among others participated in all of the high-value tournaments. Here’s a low down of all the action that unfolded yesterday.

The Big Deal – ₹30 Lakh GTD

Among the heavy-duty tournaments on Monday, Spartan Poker’s The Big Deal offered a ₹30 Lakh guarantee. The event also had a massive buy-in amount of ₹22,000. While 145 total entries were seen competing, only the top 15 were paid a min-cash of ₹54,000.

This major event title was nailed by poker pro Yudhishter Jaswal aka ‘McFly’ who ended up making a deal with Naresh Veeravalli aka ‘FreeFlow.’ After which they both pocketed winnings worth ₹6,59,830 and ₹6,34,669 respectively.

ReCharge – ₹8 Lakh GTD

This is a flagship tourney on Spartan Poker. The ReCharge event had 384 entries fighting hard for the top spot. The ₹2,200 buy-in tournament is a Monday staple on this popular online poker platform. Top 31 places were paid a min-cash of ₹7,040.

IOPC July 2021’s Blaze of Glory winner, Harshad Barve aka ‘omglukbox’ shipped this event for a prize money of ₹1,69,200. Harsh Bubna aka ‘Chiraunjilal Khosla’ was the runner-up who added ₹1,13,920 to his bankroll.

The Big Show – ₹7.5 Lakh GTD

After an eventful week of APT, PokerBaazi was back in action with its staple tourney called The Big Show. The ₹2,750 buy-in tournament welcomed 302 entries. Out of these, top 36 places were paid a min-cash of ₹5,134 from the prize pool.

The title spot was clinched by Pratibh Saluja aka ‘pratibhsaluja’ who took a pay cheque of ₹1,67,000. Online reg Manish Lakhotia aka ‘thekid’ was the runner-up with ₹1,17,000 in his pockets.
