Monday Round Up: Surbhit Grover, Saransh Garg & ‘Lemonade’ Emerge Victorious 

Coming down from a Sunday high, the action on the virtual felts took a slower pace on Monday. However, poker players were once again burning the midnight oil and grinding through the early hours of Tuesday morning. Here’s a full lowdown of the action.

ReCharge – 9 Lakh GTD

The ReCharge is a well-known tournament on Spartan Poker. This Monday, the event saw a total of 435 entries log into the platform and paid a buy-in of INR 2,200 to participate. But it was only the top 39 positions that made the money and went home with INR 6,210 in their pockets. After an intense seven-hour grind session, it was Surbhit Grover aka ‘grovahova’ who took home the ReCharge title and INR 1,80,450 as prize money. Taking the runner-up position was Pranav Khandalkar aka ‘pranavpoker’ who managed to take home INR 1,19,970 as his prize money.

Iron Man – 8 Lakh GTD

Adda52 drew in a crowd of 393 total entries to its Iron Man event. The Monday tournament is popular among players and many were ready to bring in their A-game. The buy-in was INR 2,000 and the top 43 places were paid a min-cash of INR 4,400 for their efforts. Ultimately, it was mystery player ‘Lemonade’ that took the top prize of INR 1,98,400. Right behind was ‘PapaNegreanu’ with INR 1,20,000 in tournament winnings.

The Big Show – 7.5 Lakh GTD

 Last but not least, we have PokerBaazi’s The Big Show. The event with its buy-in of INR 2,750 clocked in a total of 265 entries. Players who made it to the top 36 positions were paid a min-cash of INR 5,100 for their hard work. But finally, the tournament was shipped by player Saransh Garg aka ‘saransh004’ who walked away with winnings worth INR 1,66,000 in his pockets. Following him in second place was player ‘PINCIOTTI’ who won INR 1,16,000 in prize money.
