A new week always brings some promising action to the online poker felts. Poker pros were on their usual Monday night grind. With the Millionaire Series on Spartan Poker already underway, the virtual felts were as busy as ever. Other poker platforms like Adda52 and PokerBaazi had players flocking to the feature tournaments.
Spartan Poker is currently hosting its popular Millionaire Series. Yesterday this online poker room hosted its ₹30 Lakh guarantee Millionaire Series #7. The battle raged on as 766 entries fought to make it to the top spot. The excited players, combined with the ₹4,400 buy-in, generated a prize pool of ₹30,64,000, which surpassed the original amount. The top 70 players made the money and the min-cash stood at ₹10,724.
It was poker player Simon Mint aka ‘BustedFlush’ who shipped the tournament and had a payday of ₹7,66,000. Right behind him in the runner-up position was player ‘NAVIN 33’ who walked away with ₹4,59,600 in winnings.
The Millionaire Series #8 had an initial guarantee of ₹6.50 Lakh which was surpassed after ₹691 entries stormed Spartan Poker’s virtual felts. The buy-in was ₹1,100. The final prize pool was recorded as ₹6,91,000. In the end, the top 63 places were paid and the min-cash stood at ₹3,005.
Poker player Madhur Kapoor aka ‘Freebird11’ clinched the title and took home a pay cheque of ₹1,33,708. In the runner-up spot was a mystery player called ‘Mahaka1’ who took home ₹84,302 in prize money.
Adda52’s Iron Man is a popular event among players and this time a total of 441 entries joined the action. The ₹2,200 buy-in tournament had an advertised guarantee of ₹8 Lakh which was surpassed, and the final prize pool stood at ₹8,82,000. The top 49 players finished in the money and the min-cash was ₹4,851.
Karan Radia with the apt moniker ‘Reg_Slayer’ slayed the virtual felts to ship the tournament and won ₹2,16,090 in prize money. Abhishek Chhajer aka ‘abhiom’ was the runner-up who took home ₹1,27,890.
The Big Show on PokerBaazi was not short of intense poker action as 378 entries battled it out for the number one spot. The initial guarantee of ₹7.5 Lakh was crushed and a prize pool of ₹9,45,000 was formed. The top 45 places were paid and the min-cash of the event stood at ₹5,292. Shubham Mahapatra aka ‘Aurangzeb_9’ grabbed the top spot for ₹1,77,000. The runner-up was player Abhimanyu Mittal aka ‘AbhimanyuMittal’ who pocketed ₹1,60,000 in prize money.
