With the online felts on Tuesday packed with enthusiastic players, the energy was at an all-time high. Online poker platforms like Spartan Poker, PokerBaazi, PokerStars, and Adda52 continued to add excitement to the regular grind. Series of Legends on Adda52 has tournaments named after well-known poker players. Players like Mohit Mehta, Mithun Mahesh, Suresh Kolli, and Vaibhav Sharma grabbed all the attention with their stellar performances. For the full recap of last night’s action, read below.
The Winter Celebration Series is running full steam Spartan Poker. The Mega Stack event had 699 entries and the buy-in for this tournament stood at ₹3,300. The advertised guarantee was crushed, and the final prize pool generated was ₹20,97,000. The top 63 players were paid, and the min-cash stood at ₹9,121.
Online reg Mithun Mahesh aka ‘Zima Blue’ shipped the title and added ₹4,05,769 to his bankroll. The runner-up position was taken by Aditya Chaudhary aka ‘S1ckB3at’ who went home with ₹2,55,834. Chaudhary had also clinched the Destiny title back in 2018.
Named after ace poker player Arjanveer Singh Chadha, the Courageous Arjan tournament had a ₹16 Lakh GTD and was a part of the Adda52’s Series of Legend event. The tournament was a success with 453 total entries and a final prize pool of ₹18,34,659 which crushed the event’s initial guarantee. The top title was clinched by Mohit Mehta aka ‘thejokerrrr’ who had a pay day of ₹4,49,489. The runner-up position was claimed by Julie Kumari aka ‘Lily8’ who walked away with ₹2,66,024. In the end, the top 29 places made it in the money and the min-cash paid was ₹10,091.
Tuesdays are not complete without PokerBaazi’s The Endeavour tournament. This time the event managed to draw in a crowd of 367 total entries. The ₹3,850 buy-in tournament generated a final prize pool worth ₹12,58,000 which surpassed the advertised guarantee. Players who made it to the top 45 places finished in the money. The min-cash given was ₹7,193. In the winning seat was Vaibhav Sharma aka ‘WakhraSwagNi’ who took home a prize money of ₹2,70,000. The player in the runner-up position was Pankaj Sharma aka ‘Jmdpanku’ who walked away with ₹1,89,000.
The online felts of PokerStars saw some high-octane action all thanks to the Bounty Builder tournament. 132 entries fought hard to knock each other for the top spot. The buy-in for this tourney stood at ₹7,700. The top 17 players finished in the money and the min-cash stood at ₹8,885. Suresh Kolli aka ‘Wabi-$abi’ was the winner who pocketed ₹2,29,903 in prize money. Out of this, he won ₹1,16,976 from bounty knockouts and ₹1,12,927 from the regular prize pool. The runner-up was online reg Sanish Chhabra aka ‘sneakysani’ who took home ₹54,632 in bounty money and ₹87,719 from the regular prize pool. Chhabra’s total winnings stood at ₹1,42,351.
