Marcos Gaming Wins Skyesports Streamers Showdown

Marcos Gaming won the Skyesports Streamers Showdown. This remarkable feat was not easy to achieve as the matches were played across maps like Sanhok, Miramar and Erangel.

The winning team performed extraordinarily where the team got two chicken dinners, 103 kills to top the rankings with 209 points overall, followed by team Ravent which finished at the second place with three chicken dinners and 83 kills.

Zed Wizz God, one of the top performers from Marcos Gaming has set the bar pretty high for all the players across the tournament as he dominated throughout with 30 kills out of the overall 103 kills. This isn’t an easy number to achieve especially when you are playing against some of the top and seasoned players at an individual level.

This was the first Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) event organized by the Skyesports team which surprisingly managed to get a good amount of participation given that BGMI is a newly launched game and just a month-old post its official release.

The esports brand invited top streamers to participate in order to create a buzz in the market and showcase how the game is on par with its competitors. The broadcast was offered in four different languages: Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada. This was to ensure that the diversity is maintained from a cultural point of view.

The best part about this event was that the Indian esports market is growing at a speed which we couldn’t have imagined a few years back. The turnaround time post launch of a game and conversion of the same into tournaments is a sign of the industry picking up pace like never before. While there were apprehensions on the launch of the game, this move seems to be a good one to attract attention of former PUBG teams and players.
