Skyesports Inaugurate Their Talent Management Agency Called Sky Route

Skyesports has made esports more accessible for Indian players since its inception in November 2018, with regional contests and bilingual coverage for their favourite tournaments. Now, the firm is hoping to revolutionise the sector once more with the launch of Sky Route, a new talent management agency.

The CEO and founder Shiva Nandy said, “We discovered a significant gap between brands and South Indian creators in the industry and want to be the bridge between them. Our goal is to provide the necessary exposure to South Indian innovators while collaborating with teams from throughout the country. Over 200 creators have signed-up to join us on this adventure.”

Sky Route wants to sign esports teams from all around the country, apart from the South Indians developers. Over 200 creators and teams have signed-up with this talent management firm to gain exposure and access to various businesses and sponsors. This includes Hyderabad-based Velocity Gaming and Cochin-based Blind Esports and well-known creators such as PVS Gaming, Gaming Tamizhan, Vaadhiyar, and others.

“We are ecstatic to announce our relationship with Sky Route, a Skyesports brand,” stated Velocity Gaming owner Manoj Kashyap.

“Sky has always been a forerunner in the esports sector and has come up with new ways to promote gaming at the grassroots level in India. With this new talent management department, I am certain they will provide a sense of stability and support to many players and producers in the esports sector. We at Velocity Gaming are thrilled to be part of Sky Route and are confident that our interests and aspirations will be realised in the future,” he said.

The creators that have joined with Sky Route have a combined YouTube following of more than 25 million followers.

Sky Route will benefit not just the producers but also give companies an easy way to reach India’s regional markets, which currently have a lot of untapped potential. The agency will rely on Skyesports’ vast expertise in running events and connecting with gamers at the grassroots level to achieve this aim.
