Lukas Klima leads Day 2 of WSOP Fall Opener

The World Series of Poker (WSOP) Circuit Fall Opener is a tournament taking place in King’s Casino, Rozvadov. Yesterday saw another day of starting flights, Day 1D, Day 1E and then eventually Day 2. With quite a small number of entries so far, we’re expecting better turnouts for the rest of the WSOP Circuit series.

Yesterday saw the conclusion of Day 2 with a bigger field this time. A massive number of 473 players (including 94 re-entries) entered the tournament for a buy-in of €299 and a guaranteed prize pool of €200,000. The champion will win the biggest prize of the night along with one of the 15 gold rings that the series is offering.

Bagging the largest stack of 532,500 chips from Day 2 was once again, the chip leader from Day 1A, Lukas Klima of the Czech Republic. The massive field narrowed down to 68 progressing to Day 3. No Indian player was seen so far in the tournament, but the event was decorated with players from other nations.

This was followed by Day 1E which attracted a total of 158 players (including 35 re-entries) but only a handful of 24 participants progressed. It was Daniel Szymanski who bagged 420,000 chips topping the survivor’s field at King’s Casino.  Szymanski was last recorded as the champion of No Limit Hold’em Turbo Cool Down, WSOP Circuit Berlin.
