Kunal Patni Wins Hashtag Poker’s Event In Goa!

We recently wrote about Hashtag Poker’s event called Poker Fiesta and now we have a winner. This free entry tournament was hosted at Club Chizzale in Anjuna, Goa. The event saw many known faces participate along with first timers. One of the most popular names in the Indian poker circuit, Kunal Patni has nailed the top spot in this tournament after beating Clinton Tavares in heads-up. 

We got in touch with Patni and asked him how it feels to win the top spot. The Adda52 Game Ambassador said, “It’s a great initiative by Hashtag Poker to grow the game. I went there just to support them and ended up playing and winning. Always nice to add another trophy to the collection.” It is always fun to watch this pro grind. And seeing him add more titles to his names only makes us prouder.

Hashtag Poker had announced on social media the exciting prizes that the top six winners will get. Patni for his first place finish has won a Kodak 55” TV and Tavares grabbed the Lenovo Yoga Tablet for his second place finish. Other prizes included a Samsung smartwatch, Marshall bluetooth speaker, JBL headphone and Echo Dot.

Coming back to the winner, Patni recently spoke to us about another live event in Goa. Yes, we are talking about the Deltin Poker Tournament (DPT). The event will run from 8th – 14th November at Deltin Royale in Goa. The registrations have begun for that event and players from across the nation are expected to participate in that tournament series. We also spoke to Patni about what he is most looking forward to at the upcoming DPT Nov 2022 edition. 

The pro mentioned that he is looking to grind in an India live poker series and DPT happens to be one of the oldest live events in the country and will look to clinch a title apart from making final tables and having ITM (in the money) finishes. To read the full story, click HERE.
