APT Philippines 2022: Kunal Patni Makes FT In The Championships Event

It is happening folks, Indian poker pro Kunal Patni has made it to the final table (FT) of the Championships Event at the coveted Asian Poker Tour (APT) Philippines 2022. The FT consist of players like Duroy Gopez (PHI) 4,540,000 (chip lead), Patni (IND) 435,000, Kim Jun Hee (KOR) 1,740,000, Wen Fang Po (TPE) 635,000, Mike Takayama (PHI) 715,000, William Teoh (MAS) 605,000, David  Erquiaga (PHI) 2,790,000, and Chang Jae Lee (KOR) 635,000. The banker turned poker pro shared the exciting news of him making it to the FT on his Instagram Story.

Kunal Patni’s Instagram Update

APT Philippines 2022 Championships Event saw Patni, Abhinav Iyer and Laksh Pal Singh advance into Day 3. The World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet winner finished in the 20th spot and shared an update about his exit from the Championships Event on his Instagram Story. Iyer stated in his post that he was eliminated when his AK ran into KK with his last remaining 16 BB. Iyer also added that he will be moving on to the next tournament which is in Hanoi— World Poker Championship (WPC). 

On the other hand, Patni has been sharing updates from the Championships Event as he advanced into the tournament. Patni shared a picture when he bagged and tagged 175,500 chips in the Championships Event and gave his fans and followers a reason to smile. 

When there were only 23 players left in the Championships Event, the Adda52 Game Ambassador shared another update about his making it to Day 3 with 490,000 chips in his kitty. Now that this poker dynamo has made it to the FT, all eyes from the Indian poker circuit will be on this pro. It would be interesting to see if Patni spins the game in his favour considering that he has the shortest stack on the FT. Well, from us and the circuit we wish Patni the best of luck for the FT.
