Jordan Saccucci, who won nearly $1 Million at the European Poker Tour (EPT) Prague Main Event in 2022, was arrested in Ontario, Canada. The police brought the ace poker player into custody citing his connection to a robbery spree.
However, the 33-year-old was out on bond as he was spotted competing on Day 1B of the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Paradise 2023 Main Event. Despite playing at the WSOP Paradise 2023 ME, his stay was short-lived. While many may think it might be citing the player running out of chips, that wasn’t the case.

He was also reportedly removed from the property at the Atlantis Paradise Island Casino’s discretion after the decision was made by the WSOP staff. There has been no update on the exact reason for his removal.

Saccucci was arrested on 5th December in Oakville by Halton Regional Police alongside another suspect named Dumark Lindsay. It came just a week after authorities raised the residences of four suspects, including Saccucci. However, this isn’t the first time Saccucci faced legal trouble.
Earlier in March 2021, Saccucci was a group of 10 people who got arrested for a breaking-and-entering crime spree in Toronto, which spanned from 2020 into 2021. Various reports also indicate that Saccucci’s break-in style can be dated as far back as 2015.
Saccucci made a name for himself in the poker industry after winning the EPT Prague Main Event to pocket over $900,000 in December 2022. He has fared very well in live tournament cashes since 2016 while recording deep runs in World Poker Tour (WPT) events.
Despite the nature of his crimes, Saccucci has made his way down to the Bahamas to play live poker. It remains interesting to see if he returns to participate in WSOP Paradise 2023 in the remaining days.
