India Online Poker Championship (IOPC) June 2022 has been going full steam on Spartan Poker but that hasn’t stopped other platforms like Adda52, PokerBaazi and PokerStars to host high-value events. Sreekanth Narayan, Neel Haria, Devang Yadav and Ishan Chutani were crowned winners last night. Keep reading to know more about the action that happened on poker tables yesterday.
PokerStars hosted the ₹5,500 buy-in Summer Series event. This tournament had 321 entries in total, comprising 185 entries and 136 re-entries. The top 35 players made it in the money in this ₹5,500 buy-in event. The min-cash stood at ₹9,083. The event was a deal between Sreekanth Narayan aka ‘LaganaHiTohHai’ and Suresh Kolli aka ‘Wabi-$abi.’ Both of them cashed ₹1,64,309, Narayan pocketed ₹1,87,304 in bounty money while Kolli took home ₹39,804.
PokerBaazi’s Sunday Megastack event had a massive field of 1,636 entries in total. The top 257 entries made it in the money in this ₹1,100 buy-in event. The advertised guarantee of this event was crushed and the final prize pool stood at ₹16,36,000. A min-cash of ₹1,800 was paid. The tournament was shipped by Neel Haria aka ‘blackace9’ who cashed ₹2,48,000. The runner up in this event was a mystery player who goes by the moniker ‘rambo91’ and cashed ₹1,73,000 in prize money.
Adda52’s Mega Suits event had 478 entries in total, comprising 243 unique players and 235 re-entries. The tournament was shipped by Devang Yadav aka ‘spark123’ who cashed ₹6,12,500 in this ₹5,500 buy-in event. The runner-up in this event was Divik Arora aka ‘luckysinghh’ who took home ₹3,62,500 in prize money. The top 49 players made it in the money. The min-cash stood at ₹13,750.
This ₹11,000 buy-in event had 259 entries, comprising 144 unique players and 115 re-entries. The tournament was shipped by Ishan Chutani aka ‘nerdguy’ who cashed ₹6,73,400. The runner up in this event was Ujjwal Narwal aka ‘fourteenk’ who pocketed ₹4,01,450 in prize money. The advertised guarantee of this tourney was surpassed and the final prize pool stood at ₹25,90,000. The second runner-up in this event was Goonjan Mall aka ‘gmtesting’ who pocketed ₹3,01,735. The top 27 players made it in the money. The min-cash stood at ₹23,310.
