Day 3 of India Online Poker Championship (IOPC) on Spartan Poker saw some incredible poker action unfold. Pros are grinding, mystery players are making heads turn with their power-packed performances and then there’s the leaderboard race to win. This series will only have high-voltage drama and we cannot wait to see which players clinch titles and add glory to their names. Let’s have a look at the tournaments from last night and the winners who took home hefty pay cheques.
A mystery player called ‘MacMafia’ struck a deal with Anmol Agarwal to grab the title and a pay cheque of ₹82,704. Agarwal took home ₹69,338 in prize money. The runner-up is an online reg with 152 titles to his name. He has shipped featured tourneys across online poker platforms like Adda52 (The Mint for ₹3,05,377 in Jul 2021) and PokerStars (Super High Roller for ₹3,05,561 in Oct 2021). Agarwal’s largest came in May 2022 when he shipped Adda52’s Beat The Heat (BTH) Mega Shot.
Online reg Buhr Advirkar beat Shrvan Amlekar to win a sum of ₹2,02,104 after shipping this tourney. The runner-up added ₹1,34,366. Talking about the winner, he’s an online reg who registered his biggest cash in the Millionaire Series on Spartan Poker in Nov 2021. He took down Millionaire Series #10 – Double Stack (₹35 Lakh GTD) for a payday of ₹8,21,997. Advirkar finished fourth in the Patni Millionaire Finale on Adda52 for a prize money worth ₹5,72,557. The second place finisher is also a regular grinder across online poker rooms like Spartan Poker, Adda52 and PokerBaazi. Amlekar also has 36 online titles to his credit.
Abhishek Agarwal must have defied all odds to beat a talented pro like Arjanveer Singh Chadha to win the title spot for a payday of ₹1,20,047. Chadha added ₹76,112 to his bankroll for his second place finish.

Vinay Verma beat a mystery player called ‘freewill’ to ship the tournament for ₹2,16,290. The runner-up had a payday of ₹1,31,789. The winner of this tourney has 38 titles to his name and has played across online poker platforms like Adda52, Spartan Poker, PokerBaazi and PokerStars. Verma registered his biggest cash in PokerBaazi’s BSS SuperStack ₹25 Lakh GTD event for ₹4,92,411 in Oct 2022.
Arjanveer Singh Chadha and Samay Singh Modi ended tihs marquee tournament in a deal. The title and the biggest share of the prize pool went to Chadha (₹5,79,202) and The Player Hunt Season 2 winner, Modi added ₹5,35,736 to his bank balance. Talking about the winner, this online reg has ₹13.1 Crore in total lifetime earning (as Jan 2023) and 154 online titles to his credit. The pro from Chandigarh is also a live player who was seen grinding at the IPC Megastacks May 2022. He finished fifth at the 25K Kick-Off event for a payday of ₹2,72,000.
Modi on the other hand, has been grabbing headlines for his online exploits. He will be seen as the mentor in the upcoming season of The Player Hunt on PokerHigh. Modi also played at the IPC Megastacks May 2022 and fans would love to see him ship live poker titles in the coming future.
An anonymous player called ‘Devilis007’ shipped this tourney for ₹3,52,471. Man Mohan Singh finished second for ₹2,22,345. The runner-up registered his largest online cash in the XXX series on Spartan Poker in Nov 2022 (Event #54 Friday Xperience ₹30 Lakh GTD). Singh added ₹5,41,048 to his bankroll after his first place finish. As per his online records, Singh has seven titles to his list.
Four-time IOPC leaderboard champion Bhanu Prakash beat a mystery player called ‘Forestwow^’ to take down the tournament for a prize money worth ₹1,90,595. The runner-up added ₹1,20,231 to his bankroll. We spoke to Prakash about his first IOPC title of this edition and of course the leaderboard. The pro who’s known as the James Bond of IOPC leaderboards, said that IOPC #23 was a series saver as he feels he is behind in the race.
As for the IOPC Jan/Feb 2023 leaderboard, Prakash said he’s not leading yet and has a long way to go when it comes to being in the top 3 and eventually winning the top spot. We asked him about the Main Event (ME) title out of curiosity. Prakash revealed that we will surely play all the flights and would grind with full conviction but a win cannot be guaranteed.
