IOPC Day 14: Lakhotia And Ahuja Slayed The Online Felts To Grab Titles


The high-octane action raged on as the 12th edition of India Online Poker Championship (IOPC) completed another day. The mega online poker series continued to pull in players from across the country and witnessed players running deep. Poker pros like Ashish Ahuja and Manish Lakhotia slayed the virtual felts to nail top titles. Let’s look at what went down on Day 14 of this poker fiesta. 

IOPC #83 – ₹4 Lakh GTD

WPT Day 8: Ahuja, Purohit & Chowdhury Slayed The Virtual Felts To Win Big

With a ₹4 Lakh guarantee, the IOPC #83 attracted a total of 739 entries to its field. The event had a buy-in worth ₹660 and surpassed its initial guarantee. The final prize pool was ₹4,43,400. The top 63 places were paid and the min-cash stood at ₹1,928. Ashish Ahuja aka ‘Spewushhhiiiii’ clinched the title and went home with ₹85,798 in prize money. Snehil Aggarwal aka ‘gaurav_arsh’ was the runner-up for ₹54,095.

Players in the top 47 places were paid. The min-cash stood at ₹3,648. Bhushan Sohani aka ‘funchampion’ shipped the tournament and had a payday of ₹1,24,736. The runner-up was ‘Ankit Ranjan’ who took home ₹79,232 in prize money.

The top 63 players finished in the money and the min-cash stood at ₹1,746. In the title spot was Pranay Chaudhry aka ‘5pranay’ who won ₹77,690 in prize money. The runner-up position went to Nitin Rawat aka ‘NITINABD’ who took home 48,983.

The final prize pool generated was ₹50,90,000. The top 95 players made the money and the min-cash stood at ₹15,015. Mystery player ‘TejuHel’ nailed the Wednesday Prime title and took home a pay cheque of ₹9,71,172. The runner-up was online reg Siddhanth Kripalani aka ‘PluRibu$’ who walked away with ₹5,99,602 in his pockets.

The IOPC Wednesday Spotlight had a strong player field of 1,125 entries and had a buy-in of ₹1,650. The final prize pool of ₹16,87,500 surpassed the initial guarantee. The top 103 players finished in the money. The min-cash stood at ₹4,556. Online reg Manish Lakhotia aka ‘thekid’ shipped the tournament and added ₹3,19,613 to his bankroll. Rehmat Walia aka ‘Lologotu’ was the runner-up for ₹1,95,581.

The top 55 places were paid and the min-cash was ₹5,327. Mystery player ‘Dangalion’ shipped the tournament and took home ₹2,10,917 in prize money. The runner-up position was claimed by Parag Shah aka ‘Persie’ who walked away with ₹1,33,726.
