Harshad’s Aces Fail

Harshad BarveHarshad Barve is surely fuming post this hand. Preflop action saw a player opening 2.2 BB to be called by Barve and Sukhjit Singh (J 3 ) on the big blind. The flop ran Q 9 3 and this time Singh bet 2.2 BB to again get called off by both the players. Action was checked on the turn of 2c as it was a wet board and players were cautious. The river of Jd saw Singh bet 3.2 BB with his two pairs and Barve sitting with his A A raised it to 9.1 BB while Singh wasted no time in calling it and taking down the pot. We guess Barve should’ve raised on the flop/turn with Pocket Rockets as well as the nut flush draw and should not have let Singh with his J3 hand play till the river.

  • Barve: A A
  • Singh: J 3
  • Board: Q 9 3 2 J
