Harshad’s Full Boat Floats On The River

Day 1B of the Main Event saw a slow start with only a few players arriving on time at the event. However, once the action began there was no going back. With blinds at 100/100 on Table 4, the India Online Poker Championship July 2021 Blaze of Glory winner, Harshad Barve bet 300 preflop while holding 9 ♦ 8 ❤ . The bet was raised by Raju Shekhar to 2,100 with pocket queens and Barve called. Community cards K ♦ 9 ♣ 9 ❤ K ❤ came on the flop and turn. The two players checked on the flop and turn. When the river card showed, Shekhar bet 2,100 thinking he had the top two pairs, however, unfortunately for him, the river brought a boat for Barve and he took the pot. Given that in the first few moments itself, we had a crazy hand with pocket queens versus a full house, we wonder what awaits us ahead of the day.
