BlueStacks Looks At India As A Massive Playground For Android Gaming

BlueStacks, one of the largest Android gaming platforms in the world, is revolutionizing android gaming in India. The company has just launched BlueStacks 5 (Beta) which is an update that promises a reduction in RAM usage by 40 percent. This new update will support ARM devices and offers a faster boot, install, and launch time. All features that hardcore gamers can look forward to.

The platform is rapidly growing in India and already has over 2 million games across numerous developers. Globally, this popular gaming platform has over 500 million users in more than 200 locations.

The mobile gaming market in India has been the target of many international companies due to its size and potential. Rosen Sharma, CEO of BlueStacks, commented, “India’s mobile gaming market is quite large. The pandemic drove a surge of gamers across the world, including India, which saw a near 100 percent jump in user base.”

Sharma also stated that the gaming market in the country is mainly driven by mobile games. BlueStacks even reported that an average user spends around 5 hours every day, playing mobile games. But while this is the case, he also added that mobile games are not designed for longer gameplay. This means that with more developers releasing heavy-duty games, mobile gamers could make a switch to PC-based gaming platforms.

Now with the new update, the gaming experience of many gamers will be enhanced further. The company’s app technology will be able to optimize games without any additional work from the developers and allow them to run smoothly on PC, Mac and other devices. The new BlueStacks 5 is faster, smoother, and lighter than the previous version. Its Eco mode is perfect for gamers who are constantly switching between different apps.

“We have always believed in listening to our users to drive our product roadmap. This has enabled us to bring the best features to the market. BlueStacks 5 is also developed based on the responses we got from our gaming community,” said Sharma.
