Galaxy Racers Reveal New PUBG Mobile And Battlegrounds Mobile Rosters


Galaxy Racers, a Dubai-based esports organisation has announced two new rosters for PUBG Mobile and Battlegrounds Mobile India.

The PUBG Mobile roster will be based in the middle-eastern region, while the BGMI roster will be completely based in India. PUBG Mobile was banned in India in September 2020 following national security concerns. However, owing to the immense popularity of the game, Krafton launched the Indian version of the game called Battlegrounds Mobile India, earlier last month.

UAE based Galaxy Racers is one of the biggest esports organisations in the world. It has about 10 international esports rosters with players from 22 different countries. The organisation which was founded in 2019, has successful rosters of games like  CS:GO, League of Legends, Dota 2, PUBG Mobile, Call of Duty: Mobile, Rocket League, and Fortnite. For the PUBG Mobile roster, Galaxy Racers has taken over the former roster of Gunz Esports in the middle-east. The team consists Raouf Abdellah aka ‘RAOUF’, Maad Ali Ashkar aka ‘HixYE’, Reshar Dawid aka ‘FREAK’, Muslim Ahmed Jawad aka ‘Lord’ and Mohammed Qassim aka ‘Hamody.’

The Indian BGMI roster will include Harshit Mahajan aka ‘MJ,’ Yogesh Yadav aka ‘RoXX,’ Hemanth Sethi aka ‘Ultron,’ Mohammed Lakhani aka ‘Owais’ and Akash Anandani aka ‘MaxKasH.’ This roster has been associated with Galaxy Esports since 2020. It was a PUBG roster in India before the game was banned. After the ban, Galaxy Esports shifted this roster to the middle-eastern region. But now that the game has returned, Galaxy Esports has decided to return the roster to India and form a new team for the middle-eastern region.

The new BGMI squad will compete in the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2021, which features a massive prize pool of ₹1 crore. The online qualifiers for the series are slated to begin next week.
