Battlegrounds Mobile India: TSM Announces New BGMI Roster For India

Team Solo Mid (TSM) just signed a new roster based in India as the brand is all set to enter the Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) scene in the country. The newly signed team will compete in BGMI, which is the Indian version of PUBG Mobile. The latter was banned by the government of India in September 2020 due to data privacy and security concerns.

The brand new roster welcomes players Harsh Rao aka ‘AquaNox,’ Shubham Sahoo aka ‘Ninja,’ Arjun Mandhalkar aka ‘Shadow,’ and Hamza Hyderabwala aka ‘Blaze’ into its fold. As compared to the organization’s previous roster, these players are relatively well-known. However, it all boils down to the skills and dedication of this newly signed team.

The complete roster announcement was made by TSM India on its Instagram handle. The post caption says, “We’re incredibly excited to introduce to you all today our newest BGMI roster. We can’t wait to achieve greatness with our new team.”

The team will make their debut at the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series which has a prize pool of $135,000. The in-game qualifiers for this series will start in the coming week. The upcoming series will be a telling point for the team; whether the team has what it takes to become one of the 32 invitees in round three of the online qualifiers is something that only time will tell.

In early 2020, TSM had already entered India via a partnership with Entity Gaming. Although, it seems like that association had strong players like Abhijeet Andhare aka ‘Ghatak,’ Suraj Majumdar aka ‘Neyoo,’ Abhishek Choudhary aka ‘ZGod,’ Vivek Horo aka ‘ClutchGod,’and Jonathan Amaral they eventually decided to part ways.
