The third edition of the Final Table Series (FTS 3.0) commenced on Spartan Poker, BLITZPOKER, and PokerHigh. It flooded the online felts with eager poker players looking to grab the prestigious FTS titles. Abhijeet Kumar and Ashish Nailwal nailed top spots after slogging hard. The first feature event, FTS #2 – Friday Special was paused after the final table was set with eight players. FTS #1 kick-started the action on the virtual felts. The tournament welcomed 721 entries who participated in this high-octane event. The ₹2,200 buy-in tournament also crushed its advertised guarantee. The final prize pool stood at ₹14,42,000. Top 71 entries made it in the money, and the min-cash paid was ₹5,479. The night’s first winner was Abhijeet Kumar aka ‘TheSupremeOne’, who took home a pay cheque of ₹2,35,982. Sooraj Todi aka ‘GotNoChange31’ was the runner-up for ₹2,17,671.
Players who made money in this tourney included names like Aman Parakh (5th, ₹77,723), two-time IOPC leaderboard topper Bhanu Prakash (6th, ₹60,708), Mithun Mahesh (8th, ₹31,868), Sahil Mahboobani (13th, ₹17,880), Avneesh Munjal (14th, ₹15,573), FTS #2 Friday Special final table contender Mohit Mehta (18th, ₹12,401), IOPC Blaze of Glory winner Harshad Barve (35th, ₹7,210), Adda52 Game Ambassador, Kunal Patni (36th, ₹7,210), Gutshot Player of the Month (July 2021) Suraj Yadav (41st, ₹6,200), Vikram Mishra (47th, ₹6,200), and FTS 2.0 Big Game winner, Arjun Pasricha (61st, ₹5,479).
Curtains drew on Day 1 with FTS #3. The tournament had 902 entries fighting for the top title. The ₹1,650 buy-in event crushed its initial guarantee, and the final prize pool was ₹13,53,000. Top 87 players were paid, and the min-cash stood at ₹4,194. Ashish Nailwal aka ‘notoriouskonvict1’ emerged victorious in the end. He added ₹2,20,697 to his bankroll. Vinay B aka ‘ConCrete’ was the runner-up with ₹1,99,679 in prize money.
