FTS 2.0: Kumar Vatsal Clinches Monster Stack Title


India Poker Championship (IPC) Final Table Series 2.0 is the poker festival all Indian players are hooked onto. The second edition of this poker tournament had several featured events and one among them, the highly anticipated one was the FTS #14 Monster Stack INR 70 Lakh GTD. This tournament had a total of 617 entries and some of the top pros from the industry fought for it. Here’s what happened on the final Table of the Monster Stack.

The one with the shortest stacks does have to bear the brunt and eventually leave the FT first. In this tournament, Anurag Sangahi busted out first with INR 1,54,700 in prize money and he was followed by Ashish Kumar who took home INR 2,21,900. Following the two was the only female player on the FT table Sanjeeta Kumari who bid goodbye with a prize money of INR 2,94,700.

Right after that, Soham Pal also became the next victim to the action on the felts of Spartan Poker. He busted as the 5th player with prize money of INR 3, 77,300. Aaaah! Pro Arjun Pasricha had a close call, but unfortunately, he got busted too and cashed INR 4,80,200. This was Pasricha’s second final table on the FTS 2.0.

The fight to get the top spot was intense and Amar Mehta, Harshad Barve, and Kumar Vatsal battled it out and Amar Mehta aka ‘Laughing Buddha’ had eyeballs glued to the game. Mehta cashed INR 6,09,700 and was a tough competitor on the FT. The last two on the FT were Kumar Vatsal and Harshad Barve who put up an interesting show. The aggression was real and with the turn of events, Harshad Barve lost the top spot but took home INR 8,51,200 as the runner-up. Clinching the title was Vatsal who emerged as the winner and thickened his bankroll with INR 13,51,000 in prize money.

2nd place – Harshad Barve – INR 8,51,200
3rd place – Amar Mehta – INR 6,09,700
4th place – Arjun Pasricha – INR 4,80,200
5th place – Soham Pal – INR 3,77,300
6th place – Sanjeeta Kumari – INR 2,94,700
7th place – Ashish Kumar INR 2,21,900
8th place – Anurag Sangahi – INR 1,54,700
