The event was flocked by a total of 300 entries and combined with the ₹11,000 buy-in the tournament also crushed its original guarantee. The final amount was set at ₹30,00,000. Players in the top 31 places were paid and the min-cash was ₹26,400.
Sitting in the winner’s seat was poker pro Akhilesh Chauhan aka ‘Ikk@5’ who shipped the tournament and had a pay day of ₹5,81,250. The runner up spot was taken by player ‘Zeusneverlose’ who won ₹4,80,449.
Futuristic was another feature tournament that took place on Spartan Poker. The ₹7 Lakh guarantee tournament had a ₹880 buy-in and a total of ₹864 players. After an intense grind, the top 79 players finished in the money and the min-cash stood at ₹2,380. In the top spot was player Kripansh Khosla aka ‘GentMrK’ who took home a pay check of ₹1,16,107. Online reg Vinay B aka ‘ConCrete’ was the runner up for ₹1,02,502.
Adda52 held its marquee tournament called The Ballers which pulled in a total of 301 entries. The ₹22.5 Lakh guarantee tournament had a ₹7,500 buy-in. Players who finished in the top 30 spots made the money. The min-cash given was ₹18,000. The online felts saw some woman power with Juli Kumari aka ‘Lily8’ winning the title. She took home ₹5,76,000 in prize money. In the runner up position was player Debapriya Manna aka ‘debapriya_12345’ who walked home with ₹3,43,125.
The Weekly Highroller on PokerBaazi has been a Friday night staple for many poker players. The tournament had a total of 126 entries who paid a buy-in of ₹11,000. This turnout generated a prize pool of ₹12,60,000 which surpassed the initial guarantee. In the end, the top 15 places were paid. The min-cash given was ₹20,160. Shipping the tournament was player Ashish Munot aka ‘OMG_spew’ who went home with ₹3,38,000 in his bankroll. The runner up spot was taken by Manish Lakhotia aka ‘thekid’ who received ₹2,37,000 for his performance.
PokerStars’ Super Highroller had a ₹12 Lakh guarantee and a buy-in worth ₹12,800. There was a total of 82 entries who were up to the challenge and played in the tournament. However, only players in the top 9 spots were paid. A min-cash of ₹41,771 was given. The tournament ended in a deal between poker pros Armaan Kochhar aka ‘armaan007111’ and Shashank Shekhar aka ‘Goldfish097.’ They went home with ₹2,91,502 and ₹2,28,649 respectively.
