The European Poker Tour (EPT) is all set to return with a bang, with EPT Barcelona 2023 commencing on 21st August 2023. This poker series is scheduled to go on till 3rd September 2023, with the EPT Cyprus following up in October 2023. With EPT beginning soon, let’s have a look at the players who have managed to record the top eight finishes in the series and reached the EPT final tables.
To no one’s surprise, Steve O’Dwyer is the first name on the list. Colorado Springs-born poker is amongst the top players in the world right now. He has shined brightly in the previously held EPT tours, bagging the most money in EPT history. He has earned $14,523,376 in the tournament while sitting with total live earnings of $38,391,895.

He also pocketed $1,006,537 World Poker Tour – WPT Korea No Limit Hold’em – WPT Alpha8 One Drop Korea (Event #10) before cashing at Triton London as well. With 52 final table finishes in EPT, he is going through a purple patch in this tournament. Can O’Dwyer be able to continue this streak? Only time will tell.
The Germany-based poker pro loves to grind in EPT, having recorded the 46 final table finishes as well as second-highest earnings in the series history, pocketing $8,316,754 from EPT events. The 30-year-old recently won the Triton Poker Super High Roller Series London $50,000 + 3,000 No Limit Hold’em – 8-Handed (Event #5) to pocket $1,350,000, which propelled his total live earnings to $18,683,662.
Ole Schemion is just four final table finishes away from matching the first-ranked O’Dwyer to making the record his own. With EPT Barcelona 2023 almost upon us, it remains interesting to see if he can narrow down the gap this time around.
The Russian poker star has managed to reach the final table 41 times in EPT history. He surely is amongst the most successful players in this tournament series and will be eager to add more money to his kitty at the upcoming EPT Barcelona 2023.
Konstantin Puchkov has recorded $3,008,690 in total live earnings. He has not pocketed any major winnings in the recent past, with a mega win seemingly around the corner for him. It remains to be seen the 676th-ranked player in the All Time Money List will manage to shine bright at the upcoming EPT event.
