Elio Fox triumphs WPT Online $25K Super High Roller!

It has been a fabulous month for the international poker rooms! The World Poker Tour (WPT) one of the prestigious brands in live poker joined hands with partypoker to bring WPT Online Series from 10 to 26 May. We are fast approaching the finish line of the series and so far, plenty of winners have been crowned. However, Event 32 of the series was Super High Roller which was triumphed by WSOP bracelet winner Elio Fox who clinched to prize of a hefty $565,500!

The $25K buy-in Super High Roller garnered 87 entries, generating a prize pool of $2.17 million out of which the top 13 spots received a paycheck which would include names like Andras Nemeth, Viktor Blom, GGPoker Brand Ambassador Fedor Holz, Mikita Badziakouski, Team partypoker pros Kahle Burns, David Peters and Ludovic Geilich.

The final day began with eight survivors and 2019 European Poker Tour (EPT) Barcelona High Roller champ Juan Pardo Dominguez was the chip in-charge with a massive stack of 799k. Fox started the day with 669k chips and Paul Ayras with 427k in the third place. Eventually, the first player to bust from the final table was Ukraine’s Andrii Novak. Soon after the dismissal of Chrish Hunichen in 7^th place, it was Canadian pro Timothy Adams who secured the 6^th position.

After the elimination of Finland’s Pauli Ayras in third place, Fox locked horns with Pardo, defeating him in heads-up to grab the biggest slice of the prize pool. Pardo settled in the second position for $402,375. The champion has over $9 million in live earnings and more than $4 million in total online earnings, sitting in the 10^th position in New York’s all time money list!
