Eli Elezra Ships The PGT Mixed Games Event #3 Triple Stud

Poker Hall of Fame inductee Eli Elezra has nailed Event #3: $10,300 Triple Stud Mix at the inaugural edition of the PokerGO Tour (PGT) Mixed Games series. Elezra overcame an entry field of 60 entries to clinch the title and walk away with $155,000 in prize money. 

The event ended in a heads-up deal between Elezra and Yuval Bronshtein. Elezra was assured $135,000 while Bronshtein was assured $145,000; however, the two players continued to play for the trophy and an additional $20,000.

Talking about his victory, Elezra said, “I’ve always liked the version of any stud games and it’s really come to prove that I can do it. I just love it.”

A lot of praise and well wishes poured out for Elezra on Twitter. Mike Patrick, a poker writer, rightly recalled a quote from Elezra. The Poker Hall of Fame inductee had once said, “If you love stud, stud loves you back.”

Elezra has been a regular at seven-card stud formats and was seen playing a mix of seven-card stud high, seven-card stud hi-lo, and razz. Elezra has a total of five World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelets to his name, out of which three of them came from stud formats. 

He first won the WSOP 2007 $3,000 Seven-Card Stud Hi-Lo for $198,984, then he shipped the $1,500 Seven-Card Stud event for $112,591 during WSOP 2015. During WSOP 2019, he took down the $1,500 Seven-Card Stud event for $93,766.
