Drones used to complete gambling den bust

In the movie ‘Casino’, Robert De Niro’s says everyone on the gambling floor is kept honest because “everybody’s gotta watch everybody else.” He ends by saying, “And the eye in the sky is watching us all…” And here he is referring to the casino surveillance. Two years ago, the Chinese police turned to use drones in order to combat the illegal activities in the state and since then has led raids in an effort to keep gambling away from corrupting the society. Several countries have begun exploring the device and in India too, drones are being used to make sure the citizens are abiding by the lockdown orders.

With the Prime Minister announcing lockdown 2.0, the police force is quite vigilant with the activities taking place in their respective areas. To contain the spread of COVID-19 virus, all non-essentials, industries and other sectors have been forced shut. People are asked to isolate themselves and maintain social distance. While majority are adhering to the rules, a few others are engaging into unlawful activities.
