DPT May 2024: Ritik Khanna Nails Turbo Mix

After the Mystery Bounty tournament, Deltin Poker Tournament (DPT) May 2024 crowned another winner in Ritik Khanna. This former WPT Prime India 2023 Megastack Closer winner marched ahead in the tournament and nailed the top spot like a boss. Khanna had a payday of ₹2,86,200. The title holder beat Simran Malhotra heads-up to grab the coveted DPT trophy.

DPT May 2024: Turbo Mix

This mix event saw 106 entries battle it out for the top prize. This NLH/PLO tourney began on 22nd May at 7 PM. Players got a starting stack of 20K chips for a buy-in worth ₹15K. Late reg ended at the start of Level 8. This was the first time when a mixed game had been added to the DPT schedule, so players were pretty excited to participate. 

This event saw National Poker Series (NPS) 2024 sensation Deepak Singh bubble the final table (FT). The top 13 places were paid and the min-cash rested at ₹35,775.

The FT saw names like Gagandeep Malik. His wife Ankita Ajay also made FT. Online and live reg Simon Mint and Avinash Tauro also grabbed a spot on the FT. 

The final hand of the heads-up session saw the Pocket52 Pro go all-in with A♠ 4♣ while her rival had A♥ 9♠. From the big blind position Ritik Khanna made the call to see the board of 9♦ 6♣ 2♣ 10♥ 2♦. Khanna’s hole cards held and Malhotra took the runner-spot for ₹2,00,340.
