DPT July 2023: Shivam Shukla Nails The Big Bounty Title

The Deltin Poker Tournament (DPT) July 2023 kick-started on 18th July 2023 amid high energy and excitement at the Deltin Royale casino in Goa. We now have one more winner in Shivam Shukla. He shipped the DPT July 2023 Big Bounty NLH title. Shivam beat heads-up rival Rajesh Shukla to win a sum of ₹4,72,494 as the top prize. 

Rajesh finished runner-up and ended up adding ₹4,51,601 to his bankroll. The tournament ended in a three-way deal between Rajesh, Shivam and Prabhat Kumar. When the ICM deal was struck between the three players, the third place finisher had ₹3,77,503 waiting for him in prize money.

DPT July 2023 Big Bounty NLH – Final Hand

On Level 30, blinds 75K/150K, Shivam Shukla shoved all-in with K ♣ 4 ♠ and his heads-up rival made the call from the big blind position. Rajesh played with J ♦ Q ♣. The board ran out Q ❤ 5 ♣ 6 ♣ 8h ❤ 7 ♣ giving Shivam a straight. With this we had a new winner in Shivam Shukla and Rajesh Shukla was the runner-up for ₹4,51,601.

This tourney had lots of poker regs grinding hard for the top spot. The Big Bounty NLH recorded a total of 296 entries. This event also had online and live reg Aman Parakh. He busted in the 5th position for a sum of ₹1,77,600.
