Born on 29th November 1964, Jennifer Harman is an American professional poker player who is one of the best female players in the world. She has two World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelets to her name and is one of only four women to do so.
However, despite being one of the most well-known players in the poker industry during the early 2000s, Harman fell off the wagon and was not much in the public eye later on as the years passed. This led to people questioning if Jennifer Harman is still playing poker, and we aim to answer that question in this article.

Harman won her first WSOP bracelet at the No Limit Deuce in 2000. Having never played this format of the game before, she entered the event just after getting a five-minute tutoring from Howard Lederer. Harman ended up winning her first bracelet, with the second one coming in 2002 at the $5K Limit Texas Holdem event.
A couple of years later, Harman stepped back from poker for a year In 2004, citing her kidney transplant, which had troubled her since her childhood. Upon her return to the poker circuit, Harman fared well on multiple occasions by finishing 4th at the World Poker Tour (WPT) Five-Diamond World Poker Classic before claiming a 5th spot in the inaugural Professional Poker Tour event as well as a 2nd place in the WSOP Circuit Championship Event in 2005.
Since then, Harman has been a regular player at the Bellagio’s high-stakes cash games and an active participant in “The Corporation”, a group of high-stakes poker players who took on Andy Beal.
In 2007, she claimed the second spot at the WSOP Europe and was also a member of “Team Full Tilt” at Full Tilt Poker later on. Harman has also appeared on popular TV shows like the GSN series High Stakes Poker as well as the NBC series Poker After Dark. She was inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame in 2015 as well.
Harman is one of the greatest female poker players, and the most influential players poker has ever seen. Harman’s last big appearance came at the WSOP 2023. However, she is still a regular at the Vegas Big Games. She founded Creating Organ Donation Awareness (CODA), a non-profit organization, in 2004 and has been raising money for the cause since. She is also a frequent charity poker tournament host, which raises money for the Nevada SPCA.
