Daniel Negreanu Has A Question For Twitter’s Elon Musk

If you are on Twitter and follow Daniel Negreanu, you will know that the pro is highly active on the microblogging site. However, ever since business tycoon  Elon Musk took over Twitter and introduced a subscription model for all the verified accounts on the site, several questions were raised by users.

Negreanu too had an interesting question for the owner and CEO of Twitter. Johnnie Vibes, a poker player and vlogger shared a tweet talking about the verification process for getting the blue tick. “Paid for @Twitter Blue today. It instantly gave me a ☑️ without actual KYC verification. This ain’t it @elonmusk” (sic.)

The six-time WSOP bracelet winner replied to his tweet opposing a quetion for the SpaceX founder. “How do I buy it? I don’t see the option in my profile?” he wrote along with a screenshot of the options menu on the app.

Several users stepped in to help Negreanu. A user asked him if he was using Apple or Android, since the feature is not available on Android yet. DNegs replied to him clarifying that he had found the solution. “Figured it out it’s cause I’m in Europe I think,” (sic) he said.

Vibes also tried to help him by replying, “ Update your app. Might be an issue with you currently being in Europe.”

Several other users pointed out that Negreanu already has the blue tick indicating verification.

After Musk acquired Twitter for $44 billion,  he pledged to the users that the platform would launch new features. A few days later, it launched its Twitter Blue subscription model that would charge $7.99 per month to receive a blue checkmark to avail the new features. By doing this the business magnate is finding ways of generating more revenue.
