According to the blogpost, the following changes and additions will be seen in the new Ancient map:
Also, there are clip brush tweaks, pixelgaps blocked at certain places in the map, grenade explosion simplified besides the general optimizations in the new update. The entire list of updates can be read on CS:GO’s official blogpost.
Along with updates in the Ancient map, the Grind and Frost maps will also see a handful of changes each. Apart from maps, CS:GO 360 STATS and MISC also have one update each.
The Ancient map was added to the active duty maps in early May after the end of Operation Broken Fang and Train were removed. The new additions to the Ancient map come just weeks before the start of Flashpoint 3. However, the developer Valve clarified that the Ancient map will not be a part of the event map pool.
With these new changes and additions, the community can hopefully get accustomed to the newest map at a faster pace and enjoy a even greater gaming experience.
