The DPT Grand 2024 series is amplifying the excitement for the Indian poker scene and churning out winners as their events go into history. Last night, Chirag Sodha shipped the Mystery Bounty event, facing some of the most popular Indian poker players to have his pay day, including some massive bounties. The final stages of the event saw three players, Sodha, Kishore, and Debayan Das, rankle up for a three-way ICM deal, with Sodha taking home ₹5,18,126 and the others taking home ₹6,64,412 and ₹4,14,607, respectively.
Once the deal was struck, the players continued for the championship, with Das having 5 ♦ 3 ❤ and Kishore showing 7 ❤ 3 ♦ . Chirag had A ❤ 4 ❤ , and the board decided Chirag was the winner, with 3 ♠ 6 ❤ 8 ❤ 9 ♦ K ❤ , giving him a flush and the title.

The final table had some of the most popular Indian poker players, including Karan Sitlani, who bowed out in 8th place with ₹67,432. Other notable names were at the final table, with Gagandeep Malik bowing out at 6th place, taking home ₹1,23,091 and Karan Sitlani exiting in 8th place, taking home ₹67,432. Earlier, former DPT Champion Naveen Kumar was busted before he could reach the Final Table and took ₹46,617, as did Neel Haria, who took ₹46,617 at 16th place.

The action is truly on at DPT Grand 2024, and it remains to be seen how many Indian poker players grab headlines for their poker exploits at the event. Earlier, Sagar Raj shipped the hybrid events, the DPT Grand Rush, taking home ₹18.3 Lakh and also became the first poker player to be the proud owner of a DPT bracelet. The DPT Grand series is powered by Adda52. The events are currently hosted at the Deltin Royale in Goa. The series follows a hybrid model and has buy-ins ranging from ₹15,000 to ₹1.1 Lakh.
