Anything new? No, he’s done that previously. Then why are we writing about Grover? Well, this pro has bagged and tagged successfully at WSOP 2022 in Event #65: $3,000 Freezeout No-Limit Hold’em. The top prize in this event stands at $598,173 and the Delhi lad has 130K chips (164th position in chip counts) at his disposal when he returns on Day 2.
Onur Unsal is leading the pack of survivors with 1,244,000 chips in his armoury. 1,359 participated for a prize pool of $3,628,530 after paying a buy-in of $3,000. 226 survivors will battle it out on Day 2 and one of them is Grover. Needless to say the rivals are going to be tough but Grover too is equipped with a lot of experience (including the winning experience of course). Those who know this poker pro know that he’s a tough one to crack. Get ready to witness some firecrackers on the poker table when play resumes on Day 2.
Grover took to his Instagram handle to share some updates from his grind in Event #65: $3,000 Freezeout No-Limit Hold’em. The Final Table Series (March 2022) Main Event winner shared a picture of his entry in the Freezeout tournament and also revealed how he’s steadily building a robust chip stack.
Was this the only post Grover shared? Of course not. There’s more. This poker champ also shared a picture of him grinding in Spartan Poker Thursday High Roller from a time when he was the chip lead. The tournament was eventually won by Anuj Yadav, but Grover multi-tasking from Las Vegas is surely a sight to behold.
Before the day ended, this massively popular player took a picture of his chip stack (looks like he’s building a fort) and shared it on his Instagram stories. And are we impressed? Oh yeah, mighty impressed. Take a look below at the #ChipPorn picture.
When Day 1 of Event #65 concluded, Grover bagged and tagged and made sure he took a picture of his stack which he eventually shared on his Instagram stories. The IPC Megastacks May 2022 100K High Roller runner-up added how the last couple of levels proved to be brutal. He lost a crucial pot (500K) to his opponent’s K9 on a board of 994A (Grover had pocket fours).
Everyone knows such things happen in poker and Grover also took it in his stride. He termed his play on Day 1 as phenomenal and is looking forward to a new day. Going by what this young gun wrote in his Instagram stories, we are hoping to see this talented player perform brilliantly tomorrow. India awaits a gold bracelet, and it would be interesting to see if Grover is the one to nail it.
