Chance Kornuth Supports Alex Foxen For A Poker Blacklist

Several poker players are coming forward to create a poker blacklist restricting all players involved in cheating and violating the game. The most recent entrant to that list is WSOP bracelet winner Chance Kornuth, who has come ahead to support the list of poker pros amidst the recent allegations of cheating against pro player Ali Imsirovic.

The first player to go public about the Poker Blacklist was Alex Foxen, who went ahead to make some bold accusations against Imsirovic, who is the Global Poker Index and PokerGO Tour Player of the Year, 2021.

In a Twitter thread, Foxen alleged that Imsirovic is ‘known to be a cheater amongst all in the high roller community.’ He further suggested that Imsirovic makes use of real-time assistance (RTA) as well as multi-accounts online. According to the claims, Imsirovic is also said to use ‘chip dumps’ while playing live high roller tournaments.

He went on to say that the use of multiple accounts and RTA helps to make losing extremely unlikely against large sample sizes. Poker pro Justin Bonomo had also tweeted the same accusations against several players in the high roller community including Imsirovic.

“The use of RTAs and multi-accounts gives a huge edge to players,” Bonomo said. He added, “It depends on how comprehensive their tools are. If it knows every spot, it could easily turn a nobody into being better than every non-cheater in the world. We have tools to solve every situation (in poker) individually. It’s just a matter of compiling thousands and thousands of those solutions and coming up with a good piece of software to look at the right one.”

Kornuth also wrote that multiple sources have told him that there are several players on GGPoker’s banned list, however, he personally knows of only two names, Jake Schindler and Ali Imsirovic. According to the three-time WSOP bracelet winner, cheating is a potential reason causing a shortage of young pros in the high roller scene. He writes, “So many players like Ali and Jake are cheating them in the bigger stakes tournaments online using RTA and multiple accounts.”
