Triton Poker Series has been one of the most loved and anticipated poker series for high-rollers ever since its launch in 2016. To date, it continues to welcome some of the richest and most well-known poker players to its felts.
There are players who have recently joined the Triton Poker gang, and then there are players who have been grinding at Triton ever since its inception in 2016. One of the players who has been a regular at the series right from the beginning is Bryn Kenney. Kenney has made multiple appearances at the Triton Poker Series and registered some records too. So let’s have a look at Bryn Kenney’s Triton Poker history, records and stats.
Bryn Kenney
Bryn Kenney is an American professional player based in New York. Kenney was always into cards. Before switching to poker, Kenney played Magic: The Gathering at a competitive level. He has been playing poker since the mid-2000s and recorded his first live cash in 2007 at the East Coast Poker Championships.
Ever since, he has had one World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet to his name, which he won in 2014. In 2019, he became the number one player on Hendon Mob’s All Time Money List. Currently, he ranks second on the list with $57,582,661 in live tournament earnings.
As mentioned above, Kenney has been grinding at the Triton Poker Series since 2016. In fact he narrowly missed winning the first-ever Triton Poker Main Event to Wai Kin Yong at Triton Poker Philippines 2016 Main Event. He was the runner-up and cashed $1,401,694 for his finish.
In the following year, he again made it to the final table of the Triton Poker Philippines 2017 Main Event and bowed out at fourth place for $501,625. After a dry run in two editions, namely Philippines 2017 and Montenegro 2018, wherein he failed to cash, Kenney returned in form at the Jeju 2019 edition.
In this edition, he cashed on the final table of the NLH event. Here again, he finished runner-up in the Main Event to Timothy Adams and pocketed $3,062,513.
The Triton Poker Montenegro 2019 edition was Kenney’s best edition ever. He won his first-ever Triton Poker title in an NLH event for $1,431,376. But he didn’t stop there; within just two days, he fulfilled his long-standing Triton Poker Main Event dream by taking down the NLH Main Event for $2,713,859.
During the Triton Poker London 2019, Kenney recorded the best cash of his career after pocketing $20,563,324 for his second-place finish at the Triton Million for Charity event. He recorded two more cashes at Triton Poker Vietnam 2023 edition at the NLH event and the Main Event.
To summarise all his results, Kenney has a total of two titles and nine cashes at the Triton Poker Series. These results have helped Kenney accumulate a total earning of $30,373,405 from the series. Notably, Kenney is the number one player on Triton Poker’s All Time Money List.
