Ever since Battlegrounds Mobile India was announced, the new game has been making headlines. The PUBG fans are excited about the launch of the new version of the game. Amidst the buzz, Krafton teased a map that will be a part of the new game.
PUBG Mobile was banned by the government of India in September 2020 over security concerns. Since then Krafton has been trying to relaunch the game in India and the fans are eagerly waiting for their beloved game.
Recently Krafton announced the launch of ‘Battlegrounds Mobile India’ which reportedly is the Indian version of PUBG Mobile. The developer also started pre-registrations for the popular battle royale game on May 18th, 2021. The exact launch date of the game is yet to be revealed. However, the developer is releasing trailers and snippets from the new game on social media to keep the fans engaged.

The latest update about the game states that a new Erangle map will be included in the game. Battlegrounds Mobile India’s official Facebook page shared an image of two tea cups placed on a table. In the background, a blurred image of the iconic PUBG energy drink is also seen. When closely observed, one can also see a few polaroid images below the tea cups that reveal the name ‘Erangle.’

It seems like the developer has retained the famous and loved Erangel map from PUBG Mobile in the Indian version of the game by adding a twist to the spelling. ‘Erangel’ of PUBG has been modified to ‘Erangle.’

There is no official confirmation yet whether the entire map has been replicated or just the name. However, in a teaser shared previously, Krafton hints at another map that is identical to the current Sanhok map. Battlegrounds Mobile India may have all the maps such as Karakin, Livik, Vikendi and Miramar from PUBG Mobile.
