Ayush Garg Ships Spartan Poker’s Destiny for 7.41 Lakh


Wednesday night on the online poker felts was a low-key yet intense one. With a handful of high-value tourneys happening, players were seen grinding hard for the top spots. Let’s have a look at what went down last night on the virtual poker felts.

Destiny – ₹20 Lakh GTD

Spartan Poker’s Destiny was as usual one of the most anticipated tourneys of the night. The tourney crushed the advertised guarantee to record a final prize pool of ₹28,50,000. The event witnessed 570 entries, out of which the top 50 spots finished in the money. The min-cash stood at ₹14,250.

Former Godfather winner Ayush Garg aka ‘Tabono’ clinched the Destiny title for ₹7,41,000. ReCharge winner Ratul Steves aka ‘Atriohm’ finished at the runner-up spot for ₹4,56,000 at this tourney.

Maverick – ₹15 Lakh GTD

Adda52’s staple Maverick saw some intense action as the initial guarantee was crushed, generating a final prize pool of ₹18,25,016. The top 82 places out of the total 780 entries made it in the money as the in-cash stood at ₹4,015. Mystery player ‘void191’ shipped the tourney for a handsome ₹4,56,250, while runner-up Mohit Singh aka ‘Betoo’ walked away with ₹2,45,463. 

Players like Devrat Singh (7th, ₹45,625), Manish Lakhotia (8th, ₹34,675), IOPC July 2021 Blaze of Glory winner Harshad Barve (12th, ₹18,250), FTS 2.0 Main Event champion Siddharth Karia (13th, ₹18,250), Gutshot’s January 2021 e-magazine cover star Gaurav Sood (21st, ₹12,775), Mohit Mehta (33rd, ₹9,125), IOPC reg Sanat Mehrotra (52nd, ₹5,658), Gutshot’s October 2021 e-magazine cover star Ankit Wadhawan (68th, ₹4,563), Vishnu Khandelwal (70th, ₹4,563), The Summit champion Anmol Mehta (75th, ₹4,015) and WPT 2018 Vietnam champion Dhaval Mudgal (80th, ₹4,015) also cashed at this event.

PBC#5 Pride – ₹20 Lakh GTD

PBC#5 Pride on PokerBaazi was an action-packed affair. The event crushed the initial guarantee by more than a million rupees to generate a final prize pool of ₹33,95,000. Out of the total 970 entries, the top 117 places finished in the money. The min-cash at this tournament stood at ₹5,430. 

Arun Kumar Anandan aka ‘arunk8186’ topped the table and laughed his way to the bank for ₹5,84,000. At the runner-up spot, FTS 3.0 Main Event winner Ankit Wadhawan finished at the runner-up spot for ₹4,09,000.
