Ayush Garg Clinches Godfather Title For Over 5 Lakh

Trending Thursday – ₹20 Lakh GTD

Spartan Poker’s Trending Thursday tournament had 474 entries in total. The top 39 players were paid in this ₹5,500 buy-in event. The min-cash stood at ₹16,353. The advertised guarantee of this event was surpassed and the final prize pool stood at ₹23,70,000. The tournament was shipped by Final Table Series 3.0 Main Event winner Ankit Wadhawan aka ‘Shippament’ who cashed ₹4,75,185. The runner-up was yet another well-known player Kunal Patni aka ‘SoormaBhopali,’ who took home ₹3,15,921 in prize money.

The Godfather title was crushed by Ayush Garg aka ‘lazyman’ who took home ₹5,59,805. The runner up in this event was Harsh Dembla aka ‘BuddhaBhikari’ who received a pay cheque of ₹4,15,195.

PokerStars hosted a ₹7,700 buy-in Highroller event. The tournament had a player field of 125 entries. The top 15 players made it in the money. A min-cash of ₹16,913 was paid. The event was shipped by a mystery player who goes by the moniker ‘showgun48’ who took home ₹1,97,267. The runner up in this event was Myron Pereira aka ‘khAAbib’ who had a payday of ₹1,52,011.
