Some of the county’s top poker platforms witnessed hundreds of players grinding in their marquee tournaments. PokerBaazi is hosting the Asian Poker Tour (APT) Online Series India 2022. Spartan Poker, Adda52, and PokerStars also saw a lot of players due to their high-value Tuesday tournaments. Let’s look at the players who went home with the most significant prize money of the night.
Spartan Poker’s Mega Stack had an advertised guarantee of ₹20 Lakh, which was quickly surpassed, and the final prize pool was ₹21,20,000. The ₹4,400 buy-in event had 252 unique players, 98 re-entries, and 180 rebuys. This brought the total number of entries to 530. The top 47 places were paid, and the min-cash was ₹12,084. Rajat Sharma aka ‘NoPrisoners’ shipped the event for ₹4,13,188, while Harshit Sanghi aka ‘HeroCaller2.0’ was the runner-up and walked away with ₹2,62,456.
Spartan Poker hosted the Tuesday Highroller, which had a guarantee of ₹15 Lakh. The tournament had a buy-in worth ₹11,000 and was a massive success as it crushed its original guarantee. The final prize pool generated was ₹22,60,000. There were a total of 226 entries, out of which 119 were unique players, 43 were re-entries, and 64 were rebuys. In the end, the top 23 players made the money, and a min-cash of ₹26,216 was given. Avadh Shah aka ‘Cateyes’ clinched the title and took home ₹5,25,450 in prize money. The runner-up was Anuj Yadav aka ‘br0ckLesnar95’ who pocketed ₹3,55,950 in winnings.
Adda52‘s The Mint drew in a total of 436 entries, from which 226 were registered players and 210 were re-entries. The ₹3,850 buy-in event also surpassed the original guarantee. The final prize pool recorded was ₹15,26,000. The top 49 places were paid, and the min-cash was ₹8,393. Rajat Mahajan aka ‘Happyfish’ shipped the event and took home ₹3,73,870 in winnings. The runner-up was Mohit Mehta aka ‘thejokerrrr’ who had a payday of ₹2,21,270.
The APT #25 PLO Highroller on PokerBaazi was the biggest event of the night with a massive ₹30 Lakh guarantee. The event had a buy-in worth ₹11,000. The tournament welcomed a total of 391 entries made up of 179 unique players and 212 re-entries. The event crushed its initial guarantee. The final prize pool generated was ₹39,10,000. In the end, the top 45 places were paid, and the min-cash was ₹21,900. The event ended in a deal with Ashish Nailwal aka ‘Notoriouskonvict’ grabbing the title and a pay cheque of ₹6,86,000. The runner-up of the event was Ranjeet Negi aka ‘Rj47’ who took home ₹7,10,000 in prize money.
The APT Megastacks event drew in a total of 573 entries, consisting of 301 unique players and 272 re-entries. The event had a buy-in worth ₹2,750. The event crushed its advertised guarantee, and the final prize pool was ₹14,32,000. The top 72 places were paid, and the min-cash was ₹4,444. The event was shipped by Puneet Dua aka ‘neo1’ who had a payday of ₹2,71,000. The runner-up was Prashant Pandagre aka ‘prashant1982’ who went home with ₹1,90,000 in his bankroll.
The APT Turbo was a 6-max event with a ₹8 Lakh guarantee. The event welcomed a total of 600 entries, out of which 334 were unique players and 266 were re-entries. The event also crushed its guarantee and recorded ₹12,00,000 as its final prize pool. The top 101 places were paid, and the min-cash was ₹3,600. Nitesh Katiyar aka ‘TheTamizhDurrr’ was the winner who went home with ₹1,87,000 in his bankroll. The runner-up was Atishay Samuel aka ‘nutscracker‘ who took a pay cheque of ₹1,72,000.
The Bounty Builder on PokerStars had a ₹10 Lakh guarantee and a total of 134 entries. From this, 76 were registered players, while 58 were re-entries. The event had a buy-in of ₹7,700, and the top 15 places were paid. The min-cash given was ₹9,941. Bharath Kumar aka ‘hzgod’ shipped the event and earned ₹1,34,530 from the bounty prize pool and ₹99,613 from the regular prize pool. The runner-up was Tanmay Benara aka ‘tanmay1909’ who got ₹26,687 in bounty money and ₹99,613 from the regular prize pool.
