Ashish Munot, Mohit Mehta Among Others Ship Titles


Spartan Poker, PokerBaazi and Adda52 hosted high-value events yesterday. Well known grinders Ashish Munot, Aditya Sushant, Gurpal Singh, Karan Radia among others cashed massively. Here’s a low down of what happened on the poker platforms last night. Munot cashed ₹3,32,503 in prize money. 

Destiny – ₹18 Lakh GTD 

Spartan Poker’s Destiny tournament had 373 entries, comprising 180 unique players, 82 re-entries and 111 rebuys. The advertised guarantee of this event was surpassed and the final prize pool stood at ₹18,65,000. The ₹5,500 buy-in event was shipped by poker pro Ashish Munot aka ‘Donkey 07.’ Munot walked away with ₹3,32,503 in prize money. The runner-up was World Series Of Poker (WSOP) bracelet winner Aditya Sushant aka ‘SuperuSer.’ Sushant cashed ₹2,90,033 in prize money.

Adda52’s Maverick tournament had 554 entries in total. There were 283 unique players and 271 re-entries in this ₹2,750 buy-in event. The top 55 players made it in the money. The min-cash stood at ₹5,250. The tournament was shipped by Gurpal Singh aka ‘TheUndecided777’ who took a pay cheque of ₹3,90,000. The runner-up was online reg Karan Radia aka ‘Reg_Slayer’ who cashed ₹2,21,250 in prize money.

The Pride – ₹10 Lakh GTD

PokerBaazi’s Pride tournament had 354 entries in total, comprising 192 unique players and 162 re-entries. The top 45 players made it in the money in this ₹3,850 buy-in event. The advertised guarantee of this event was surpassed and the final prize pool stood at ₹12,39,000. The tournament was a deal between the Millionaire Series April 2022 leaderboard topper Mohit Mehta aka ‘thejoker’ and an anonymous player who goes by the moniker ‘mahakal777.’ Mehta received a pay cheque of ₹2,28,000 while the mystery player had a payday of ₹2,14,000.
