Tuesday night saw some exciting action on the online felts. PokerBaazi’s 1000x Series continued to pull in players and other poker sites like Spartan Poker, PokerStars, and Adda52 hosted high-value tournaments. The night ended in some of the top pros taking home winning titles. Here’s a lowdown of the action.
Spartan Poker hosted the Mega Stack event which had a ₹18 Lakh guarantee. The event was shipped by Ashish Ahuja aka ‘Spewushhhiiiii’ who went home with ₹3,60,900 in prize money. The runner-up was Bharath Kumar aka ‘sanapalbhar’ who walked away with ₹2,39,940. The event drew in a total of 398 entries from which 194 were unique players, 79 were re-entries, and 125 were re-buys. The top 39 places were paid and the min-cash stood at ₹12,420.
The Tuesday High Roller on Spartan Poker had ₹15 Lakh in guarantee and a buy-in worth ₹11,000. The event attracted 190 runner made up of 102 unique players, 27 re-entries, and 61 re-buys. The advertised guarantee was crushed and a final prize pool of ₹19,00,000 was generated. The top 17 places finished in the money and the min-cash stood at ₹29,830. Saransh Garg aka ‘TerrorGandhi$’ shipped the title and pocketed ₹4,78,040 in prize money. Player ‘DerLehrer’ was the runner-up for ₹3,23,000.
PokerBaazi’s 1000x series continued its run and hosted the Tuesday Prime event which had a ₹25 Lakh guarantee and a buy-in of ₹2,750. The tournament had 1,170 entries, out of which 570 were unique players and 600 were re-entries. The event generated a prize pool worth ₹29,25,000 which crushed the initial guarantee. The top 135 places were paid, and the min-cash was ₹4,090. Millionaire Series leaderboard topper Bhanu Prakash aka ‘Chennaino1’ shipped the event for ₹4,92,000. Player ‘Himanshu0707’ was the runner-up and went home with ₹3,45,000.
Next in the 1000x Series was a ₹10 Lakh guarantee event which had a total of 1,272 entries made up of 626 unique players and 646 re-entries. The prize pool was ₹12,72,000 which crushed the initial guarantee. The top 220 places were paid, and the min-cash stood at ₹1,780. The event ended in a three-way deal between ‘luckyfa’ who grabbed the bigger share of ₹1,42,000 and the title, ‘Shiva19’ who walked away with ₹1,27,000, and ‘nimbupani’ who pocketed ₹1,35,000.
Adda52 hosted the Mint tournament which drew in 201 registered players, and 194 re-entries. The buy-in was worth ₹3,850 and the top 43 places were paid. The min-cash stood ₹7,700. The event was shipped by ‘Ronima1978’ for ₹3,47,200. The runner-up was Kaleem Pasha aka ‘fishwithnuts,’ who had a payday of ₹2,10,000.
PokerStars’ Bounty Builder had a buy-in worth ₹7,700 and a guarantee of ₹10 Lakh. The event attracted 127 total entries made up of 77 unique players, and 50 re-entries. The top 13 places were paid, and the min-cash was ₹12,056. Player ‘kushagrakhatri’ shipped the event and scored ₹88,876 in bounty money and ₹1,09,488 from the main prize pool. Ashish Ahuja aka ‘Spewushhhiiiii’ was the runner up and took home ₹38,992 as bounty money and ₹1,09,488 from the regular prize pool.
