APT VSOP 2022: Ankit Jajodia Finishes 3rd In Player Of The Series

Asian Poker Tour (APT) Summer Festival Hanoi 2022 has finally concluded with 29 players crowned as champions. Held at the Vietnam Series of Poker (VSOP), the event ran for thirteen days and has now crowed a new APT Player of the Series. After grinding on the live felts, Filipino player Vamerdino Magsakay topped the leaderboard and took home the prestigious APT Player of the Series (POS) award.

In total, the series accumulated a total prize pool of VN₫ 43,802,290,000. A total of 2,776 entries participated in the series, of which 437 were unique players. Among the top places on the leaderboard is Indian poker pro Ankit Jajodia.

APT Player of the Series

The APT Player of the Series is a leaderboard that tracks players’ performances in the running series. Players who make the money score points which add up on the leaderboard. Ultimately, Vamerdino Magsakay scored 1,051.13 points and took home the POS title. He also walked away with a POS Ring, an exclusive watch and $800 for his achievement. This is also Magasakay’s second POS title, as he won one in April 2022 at the APT Phu Quoc in Vietnam.

While Chang Xiang Guang came in second with 899.26 points, Indian poker pro Ankit Kumar Jajodia came in third in the POS race with a total of 881.40 points. Jajodia did not win any APT titles, but he cashed at four events, one of which was 3rd place at the APT Main Event, and the other was 3rd place at Event 5: Pot Limit Omaha. He also cashed on the Head Hunter in 6th place and in the Monster Stack at 8th place.
