The Asian Poker Tour (APT) Vietnam Ho Chi Minh 2022 has been great for the Indian contingent grinding at the series. In the latest update two Indian players have made it to the final day of the coveted Main Event of the series. The final 18 players will return to play the final day and lift the ME title.
The event which went on for three days has condensed down to the top 18 players. Vietnam’s Tun Nguyen is leading the final 18 with the highest stack of 1,670,000 chips. Korea’s Kim Ki Woong sits with the second highest stack of 1,600,000 chips, while third in chips is Vietnam’s Dinh Xuan Dinh with a stack size of 1,575,000 chips.
Indian players Manoj Pentakota and Amit Kaushik have progressed to the final day of the event. Pentakota will resume the day with the seventh highest stack of 1,255,000 chips, while Kaushik has 1,020,000 chips, which is the tenth highest. Kaushik, who qualified via flight 1B, was leading the survivors of that day with 169,200 chips going into Day 2A.
APT shared the list of the top 18, congratulating them on their official Twitter handle. They also shared a glimpse of the prestigious Main Event trophy that awaits a champion.

Apart from Kaushik and Pentakota, other Indians including Sumit Sapra, Avneesh Munjal, and Harsh Bubna were also grinding on Day 3 of the event. All of the Indians were among the top 10 stacks entering Day 3, with Sumit Sapra having the second highest stack overall. However, only Kaushik and Pentakota have managed to make it to the final day.
