The Asian Poker Tour (APT) is one of the most prominent poker series in the Asian continent. It is an important series for the players who are looking to gain solid ground in the big leagues and make a name for themself in the Asian circuit.

APT Hanoi, Vietnam 2023

Asian Poker Tour kick-started 2023 with a bang by flagging off APT Hanoi, Vietnam 2023. The tournament series was played at the VSOP club between 3rd and 12th February 2023. It saw Latvia-based Plivcs Aigars defeat a pool of 204 entrants and win Event 32: APT – High Roller – 8 Max – VND 3,000,000,000 GTD. He walked away with a reward of VND 2,191,510,000 from a prize pool of VND 9,894,000,000. 

APT Phu Quoc, Vietnam 2023

This series was played at the Corona Resort and Casino and ran between 24th March to 2nd April 2023. Jin Woo Kim faced tough competition with 102 players looking to win Event 38: APT High Roller – 8 Max, which consisted of a prize pool of VND 4,947,000,000. However, the United States-based player claimed first place and won VND 1,263,940,000 at APT Phu Quoc, Vietnam 2023. 

APT Taipei, Taiwan 2023

After two events in Vietnam, the action shifted to Taiwan with APT Taipei in 2023. This live poker series was hosted at the Asia Poker Arena from 28th April to 7th May 2023. Thailand’s Wongwichit Phachara, who is a Natural8 ambassador won Event 43: APT High Roller – 8 Max – TWD 4,500,000 GTD. The event saw 302 players battle it out for a top prize of TWD 4,800,900 from a prize pool of TWD 26,364,600.

APT Summer Series Hanoi, Vietnam 2023

This poker extravaganza took place at the Grand Loyal Poker Club, Grand Vista Hotel between 26 May to 4 June 2023. Local lad Ngoc Dai Nguyen won Event 41: APT High Roller – 8 Max – VND 4,000,000,000 GTD by defeating a pool of 166 entries to win VND 2,695,460,000 from a prize pool of VND 11,593,440,000. 

APT Summer Series Da Nang, Vietnam 2023

The Furama Resort Danang (Ariyana Convention Centre) hosted the APT Summer Series Da Nang from 21st to 30th July 2023. It was Vietnam’s Nguyen Hoang Long who shipped the Event 51: APT High Roller – 8 Max – VND 5,000,000,000 GTD to win VND 2,614,280,000. He played in a field of 161 entrants, with the event boasting a prize pool of VND 11,244,240,000. 

APT Incheon, South Korea 2023

The Paradise City Casino played host to APT Incheon, South Korea 2023, which took place from 25th August to 3rd September. The Event 64: APT High Roller – 8 Max – KRW 350,000,000 GTD had a prize pool of KRW 813,199,500. The event saw Thailand’s Thanisorn Saelor defeat a field of 207 players and finish in first place, which earned him KRW 171,939,500. 

UPCOMING APT HIGH ROLLER EVENT

If you are motivated by the above-shared list and wish to find your name in the history books as well, here’s your chance to make it count. The APT schedule has APT Hanoi Billions 2023 coming up and will take place at the National Convention Centre (NCC) from 1st to 10th December 2023. The High Roller event for this series has a VND 5,000,000,000 GTD (~$2,03,459 / ~₹1,69,42,112) and will take place on 9th December.
