Earlier the live poker brand had also made changes to their schedule. APT cancelled certain events and rescheduled others citing the massive entries received for the Main Event which broke past records.
So far, we had seen APT Main Event conclude its play on Day 3 and Day 4 was supposed to be held on 9th December 2023. APT also added one extra day to their Main Event schedule as the tournament received an overwhelming number of entries and became the biggest APT Main Event ever.
Now, Day 4 stands cancelled and the event will not be hosted any further. The cancellation announcement may have come as a shocker to all the players who participated. The brand could further issue a statement revealing the reason for the cancellation of such a highly anticipated live poker series in Asia. The tournament series was meant to run from 1st to 10th December at the National Convention Center.
