India’s Ankit Ahuja And Nipun Java Cash At 2023 Wynn Millions Main Event


Indian-origin poker players Ankit Ahuja and Nipun Java have cashed at the ongoing 2023 Wynn Millions Main Event at the Wynn poker room in Las Vegas. Ahuja finished at the 125th place and pocketed $8,386, while Java bowed out at 101st place for $9,808. 

The event saw 1,314 players enter the field via starting flights. 157 players returned to play Day 3 of the evnt. The top 134 players were paid a min-cash of $8,386. The $3,500 buy-in event generated a final prize pool of $4,171,950. Ahuja made it to Day 3 with 130K chips (6K BB) at his disposal.

Who is Ankit Ahuja Poker?

Ankit Ahuja is an Indian-origin poker player currently living in the United States. The Gaming Software Product Manager by profession has live poker results dating back to 2011. He has $1,247,094 in live tournament earnings, with his best cash being $330,134, which he won by taking down the No Limit Hold’em – MonsterStack at DeepStack Championship Poker Series in Las Vegas in 2019. Apart from this, one of the most notable titles of his career is the No Limit Hold’em – Red Dragon High Roller event he won in Manila in 2020. He has 22 cashes at the World Series of Poker (WSOP), accounting to total earnings of $147,672 from the series.

Who is Nipun Java?

Nipun Java is Delhi-born professional poker player residing in the United States. He has two WSOP bracelets and two WSOP circuit rings. The former software engineer has 130 cashes at the WSOP accumulating to a wealth of $1,478,277. He has $2,923,719 in live tournament earnings so far. His biggest cash so far has been $270,509, which he warned for finishing second at the WSOP 2015 Pot Limit Omaha Six Handed event.
