The country is at its peak with numerous on-going online and live poker tournaments and Spartan Poker is not far behind, hosting the Spartan Value Series (SVS) the event is jammed with various newcomers along with poker pros stepping up to win big. Here is a complete summary of Day 3 of SVS…

SVS Event #11 INR 30k GTD

The first tournament of the day saw a moderate field of 268 entries, each paid a buy-in of INR 165 to enter the tournament. The guarantee was smashed creating a prize pool of INR 40k. The winner of the evening was ‘Hj1008’ shipping the tournament and walking away INR 6,902. The final hand saw 5 players entering the table who eventually settled for a deal. ‘Hj1008’ carrying a larger stack of 265k chips took the title.

SVS Event #12 INR 65k GTD

As the competition progresses, so does the guaranteed amount which was surpassed creating a prize pool of INR 75,500. A total of 151 players registered for a buy-in of INR 550. The top 13 remaining players were paid out the minimum cash of INR 1,547. Coming on the top and increasing his poker bankroll was ‘JellyFish1605’ as he managed to take down the tournament adding a title to his poker cap. He beat ‘yUDdam’ who settled for the runner-up position. A deal was made among the final 3 players, and ‘JellyFish1605’ with his 375k chips ahead of the other players walked out with first-place prize money of INR 16,057.

SVS Event #13 INR 50k GTD

204 entries registered in the third tournament of the day, each paying INR 275 buy-in. One again, the prize pool was shared among the top 17 places receiving a min-cash of INR 800. Triumphing the evening and walking out with the biggest prize money of INR 12,118 was ‘Sanju dalal’ beating ‘adithya_raj’ in heads-up who eventually settled for the second position.

SVS Event #14 INR 1.75 Lakhs GTD

With a buy-in of INR 770, the tournament attracted a total number of 200 players. The prize pool was later shared among the top 20 players each was paid out INR 2,345. Last night’s tournament was shipped by Amarjeet Singh aka ‘superchor89’ taking home a healthy prize money.

With blinds at 6,000/12,000 ante 1,200 in Level #32, 3 players enter the final hand, Gandhi (8c Qs) leading with 400k chips followed by ‘petea1971’ (5s 2c) with 351k chips and ‘Skullkikker’ (2h Ts) with 348k chips. 3d Tc 8d flop ‘petea1971’ bets 27k while Singh smartly folds. As the 3 players settle to make a deal, Singh carrying a larger stack eventually won the title of the night.

SVS Event #15 Hi-Fi INR 5 Lakhs GTD

Hi-Fi has been the final tournament on each day so far, and the event attracted another 386 players registering for a buy-in of INR 1,100. The prize pool was eventually shared among the top 36 places each receiving a minimum amount of INR 3,250. The champion of the night was ‘pokerdivine’ claiming the final tournament after beating ‘Radhe2015’ who settled for runner-up prize money.
