The massive National Poker Series (NPS) came to an end. Chirag Sodha is the chip leader in the NPS Main Event. Sodha is not only the main event chip lead but also the runner up in PokerStars Highroller. Other well known poker rooms such as Spartan Poker, PokerBaazi and Adda52 also hosted high-value events yesterday. Some of the well known grinders who walked away with titles were Kapil Arora, Saransh Garg, Rubin Labroo, Karan Radia, Ashish Ahuja, Arsh Grover, Anant Purohit among others. Sunday Superstack on Spartan Poker had 364 entries in total. The top 31 players made it in the money in this ₹11,000 buy-in event. The min-cash stood at ₹32,032. The advertised guarantee of this event was surpassed and the final prize pool stood at ₹36,40,000. The tournament was shipped by Kapil Arora aka ‘FengFu’ who had a pay day of ₹7,69,860. The runner-up in this event was a mystery player who goes by the moniker ‘bluechipp’ and took home ₹5,18,336 in prize money.
Spartan Poker’s Sunday Sundowner had a field of 416 entries in total. The top 39 players made it in the money in this ₹3,300 buy-in event. The min-cash stood at ₹10,350. The tournament was shipped by Saransh Garg aka ‘iammrmeeseeks’ who received a pay cheque of ₹3,00,750. The runner up in this event was Deepesh Raka aka ‘prince1993’ who received ₹1,99,950 in prize money.

Adda52’s Mega Suits was shipped by the well-known poker player and India Poker Championship Jan 2020 Main Event winner Rubin Labroo aka ‘kornkif.’ Labroo clinched the top title among 442 entries and walked away with ₹5,18,235 in prize money. The runner-up in this event was Anant Purohit aka ‘Pro_baba’ for ₹3,71,065. The top 49 players made the money in this ₹5,500 buy-in event.
Adda52’s Millions tournament had 228 entries in total. The top 24 players made it in the money in this ₹11,000 buy-in event. The min-cash stood at ₹21,250. The tournament was shipped by India Online Poker Championship (IOPC) veteran Karan Radia aka ‘Reg_Slayer’, who had a pay day of ₹5,01,473. The runner-up in this event was Arun Sriram aka ‘runyrules’ who took home ₹4,88,924 in prize money.
PokerStars Sunday Special tournament had 282 entries in total. The top 31 players made it in the money in this ₹5,500 buy-in tournament. The min-cash stood at ₹7,329. The event was a deal between Ashish Ahuja aka ‘Spewushhhiiiii’ and Anmol Mehta aka ‘Kaanchacheena.’ Both the players thickened their bankrolls with ₹1,33,476 in regular prize money. Ahuja took home ₹1,09,365 while Mehta cashed ₹58,505 in bounty money.
PokerStars and highrollers go hand in hand. Yesterday the online poker room hosted a ₹11,000 buy-in highroller event. This tournament had 89 entries and the top 11 players made it in the money. A min-cash of ₹29,464 was paid. The tournament was shipped by Final Table Series (FTS) January Main Event winner Arsh Grover aka ‘BigggTymeR’ who took home ₹2,38,966 in prize money. The runner-up in this event was Chirag Sodha aka ‘WhyworrY_56’ who walked away with ₹1,83,733 in prize money.
Slam Dunk in the NPS series on PokerBaazi had 701 total entries. The top 81 players made it in the money. A min-cash of ₹3,500 was paid in this ₹2,200 buy-in event. The event ended in a deal between Abhijeet Bhaduria aka ‘Sh0wTime94’ and Dhaval Doshi aka ‘Faizal1506.’ Bhaduria fired two bullets to clinch the top title while Doshi fired one. Bhaduria thickened his bankroll with ₹2,25,000 while Doshi took home ₹2,16,000. The advertised guarantee of this event was crushed massively and the final prize pool stood at ₹14,02,000.
The Sunday Marathon saw a massive field of 1,007 total entries. The top 117 players made it in the money in this ₹4,400 buy-in event. A min-cash of ₹6,440 was paid. The advertised guarantee of this event was crushed and the final prize pool stood at ₹40,28,000. The tournament was a deal between Anant Purohit aka ‘Pro_Pro’ and a mystery player who goes by the moniker ‘Pg1993.’ Purohit fired three bullets and walked away with ₹5,93,000 in prize money. The mystery player fired four bullets and cashed ₹5,86,000.
NPS Sunday Sail had a massive field of 936 entries in total. The top 108 players made it in the money. The min-cash stood at ₹2,390 in this ₹1,650 buy-in event. The advertised guarantee of this event was crushed massively and the final prize pool stood at ₹14,04,000. The tournament was shipped by Anirudh Reddy aka ‘Flash1’ who took home ₹2,46,000. The runner up in this event was Vineet Kumar aka ‘whale’ who received a pay cheque of ₹1,72,000.
The Golden Rush had 1845 survivors who were paid a min-cash of ₹1,000. The chip lead is an anonymous player who goes by moniker ‘Sanky92’. The second chip lead in this event is also a mystery player who goes by the moniker ‘Ladone’. The final table of this event will be held at PokerBaazi LIVE, Goa on 25th March.
The NPS Min Event chip lead is Chirag Sodha aka ‘Miyagi’. The second chip lead in this event was Ashutosh Balodhi aka ‘Senjowod’. The event had 689 survivors in total. The top 620 survivors made it in the money. The min-cash stood at ₹12,400. The advertised guarantee of this event was surpassed and the final prize pool stood at ₹3,10,00,000. The final table of this event will be hosted at PokerBaazi Live, Goa on 24th March.
NPS #84 Sprint event had 1,110 entries in total. The top 126 players made it in the money. A min-cash of ₹3,330 was paid in this ₹2,200 buy-in event. The tournament was a deal between Akshat Sharma aka ‘takingcuntrol’ and Deepak Singh aka ‘3streakbluff.’ Sharma cashed ₹3,15,000 while Singh took home ₹3,27,000 in prize money.
